Sign up through Parks & Rec

The purpose
of this clinic is to introduce children and teens and adults
with physical and mental disabilities to the game of tennis.
This clinic will provide instruction of basic tennis skills.

On November 4th, 2006 the Special
Population Clinic was given and was extremely successful.
Giving instruction were Phil Weiner, Bryan Howell, and Giac Tran.
Talking about having the BEST of the
BEST. It turned out to be an exceptional day. We
gave back packs to all particpants and trophies to each and
everyone. They deserved each and every thing they got. To win
a trophy they had to hit the target and each person did.
Thanks to Nancy Hopson for her support donating hot dogs to the
cause. Unexpected but a perfect fit for the kids. Thanks to
Ryan, Justin, Cari, Nick, Breanna, and Steve for their able body
assistance. We sure needed their help. Thanks to Joy
Weir from Parks and Rec standing by our group making sure every
thing was a okay. All and all another great show of community spirit
helping those that would like to show they are capable of being
successful. Me, I personally thought each of the kids hitting
the target was especially gratifying.
Again, thanks to Phil Weiner, Bryan
Howell, Giac Tran and Nancy Hopson for making the day one to
remember for all of us.
